Centricity Electronic Medical Record Reviews

If you're considering an EMR for your practice, you may be wondering if Centricity EMR is right for you. While this system provides a number of great benefits, it's not without its flaws. It runs slowly, even after several upgrades, and has a limited number of features. For example, you can't open multiple windows or customize your home page. Plus, some of its basic features are missing, such as real-time spell-checking. Another problem is that the text boxes are too small, with a maximum limit of 2,000 characters.

Centricity is an ambulatory EMR that combines population health and analytics solutions. It can be customized to meet your practice's needs, and it can help your practice comply with coding changes such as ICD-10. It is also PCMH-validated by NCQA and receives auto-credit for PCMH 2014 scoring.

The Centricity EMR database was also evaluated for external validity and generalizability. This data has been used to determine whether Centricity is more helpful in predicting the prevalence of chronic conditions in patients. It is a cloud-based EMR Software. It also has more detailed medical documentation, including information about medications. It also reflects more medical problems than the NAMCS survey does. It has also been shown to be more sensitive to chronic conditions.

While the basic EMR features of Centricity may be useful for some users, there are also users who find it difficult to use and complain about its lack of flexibility. In addition to its limited functionality, some users have complained that GE has little interest in enhancing its product. Many users have described the system as antiquated, poorly implemented, and difficult to use every day.
